The Hair Removal Market
In the U.S., hair removal is the fastest growing non-surgical aesthetic laser application. With a projected annual growth rate of 18 percent, there will be 6 million laser hair removal procedures performed in 2010.1 While hair removal is most popular among women—with virtually all of them aged 12 and over engaging in the practice on a regular basis—laser hair removal for men comprised 14.8% of the total procedures performed in 2005.1
